Send an email to request@sermonix.app with a line about your church. We'll be in touch.

Eight tools. One Slack.

The actual operational grind of running a small-staff church, automated where it can be and assisted where it can't. Each tool is a slash command in Slack. Output is church-specific because Sermonix knows you.

/sermon

Sermon prep brief

Paste a passage and a working angle. Get exegetical notes, historical context, and three sermon arcs you can actually preach. Tuned to your tradition.

/social

Sermon-to-social

One Sunday manuscript becomes a week of social posts in your church's voice. Captions, hashtags, suggested timing across the channels you use.

/newsletter

Weekly newsletter

Bullets in, warm narrative out. Wins from last weekend, calls to action that don't sound like a megaphone, in your house style.

/welcome

Guest follow-up

Personalized email and text from your notes at the door. Ready to send Monday morning. Not generic, not creepy.

/devotional

5-day devotional

Turn Sunday's sermon into a Monday-through-Friday devotional. Scripture, reflection, journaling prompt, and prayer for each day.

/study

Small group guide

Discussion questions plus leader notes so a non-pastor can confidently facilitate. Observation, interpretation, application, take-home challenge.

/image

Image generation

Sermon series graphics, social headers, slide backgrounds, kids ministry illustrations. Describe what you want, get a usable image, stored privately.

/profile

Your church on file

Name, voice, tradition, current series, custom instructions. Set it once. Every response after that is tuned to who you are.

DM the bot

And ask it anything else.

Bounce a counseling outline. Pressure-test a leadership decision. Catch a typo in your bulletin. Sermonix remembers your church profile, so you don't have to keep re-explaining who you are.

Built by people who've done the work.

Sermonix is a product of Sidestreet, a Spartanburg digital agency. We've spent 15 years inside the church world — staff, production, business operations, leadership at the launch of new churches.

Why we built this

A pastor plants a church or steps into the lead role at a small one. The phone never stops. They're trying to preach 50 weekends a year, write a newsletter every week, post on social, follow up with every guest, prep small group materials, manage kids ministry.

The available tools are either built for megachurches (priced and designed for them) or scattered SaaS products that don't talk to each other and don't know anything about their church. We built Sermonix for the small-staff church plant we'd want to use ourselves.

Who's behind it

Sidestreet was founded in Spartanburg, SC in 2010 by Josh Kuhn after years on church staff at First Baptist Spartanburg, NOBTS, Vintage Church New Orleans, and the launch of Awaken Church Charleston.

We work with churches, brands, and growing companies. Sermonix is our deepest investment in the local church to date.

Spend your week on people, not output.

Sermonix is invitation-only during beta. Send us an email and tell us a little about your church.
